USA Regional Competition Assignments

Prior to Actual Competition

Trial Coordinator: (judges trial book, competition paperwork): Nia

Entry Coordinator: (keep tab on entries and money coming in) Tina

Contact and secure a judge for the championship: Nia

Hospitality/Hotel: Les

Website: Dara

Apparel: Ray

Sponsorship Coordinators: Tina, Raylynn

Catalog:

Sell ads for catalog and Website (as many members as we can get to do the selling): Shade, Sandy, Raylynn

Raffle: Sandy, Angi

Field & Equipment: (ammunition, gun, dumbbells) (paint the blinds, equipment, mow and weed whack the field) Ray, Jo, Patty, Angi

Breakfast and Lunch: Jo, Angi

Hot drinks and three cases water: Tina

Trophies/Awards (set sponsors and get the trophies) Tina will help with sponsors for trophies/awards (I have three already), Les to get the trophies.

Tracking Flags/Tracking Articles: Les

Tracking Fields: Will contact farmer (Les)

Week of Competition Assignments

Competitor and Spectator Parking Set-Up: (2 people) Tina to set signs, Patty

Field Banners, Vendor Space Coordinator: (2 people) Tina and Sandy will hang banners

Field Set Up (make sure dumbbells, jumps, long down area and blinds are in good working order): Ray, Angi

Website update: Dara

Draw Night (Friday before the Championship):  As many club members as we can get:

Judges thank you Gift: ( I go for a hand shake): Nia

Put maps in host hotel for competitors and spectators: Les

Field security at night Tina (LOL)

Days of Competition Assignments

Conference room for Regional meeting (have water, coffee, etc.): Les

Drivers to escort people to tracking Grounds: Patty, Raylynn

Track Layers:  Primary Craig, Secondary Ed, Alternate Les

Parking coordinator (make sure the competitors are in the right parking area and the spectators in theirs): We will probably need 2 or 3 people for this Ray, Teresa

Assistance with Breakfast and Lunch (this will be done in shifts of 2 hours): As many members that can assist the better Tina will have coffee and hot water for drinks ready when competitors arrive, Nia (2 hrs.), Raylynn
Group captain (in charge to get the group and be ready when called) Patty

Gun Person (duties to keep the gun loaded and shoot it during the obedience routines): Patty

Judge Assistant (make sure the judge has the paperwork for the dog that is being judged and is comfortable during judging (water, juice, etc.): Normally the trial Chairman does this.

Closing Ceremonies

Field clean up (as soon as the trial is over so we can set up for the award presentation (pick up dumbbells and any garbage on the field): ALL MEMBERS

Podium Set Up (move podium to center of field): ALL MEMBERS

Assist Club President with the Trophy Presentation (hand the Competition Trophies to the President to pass on to the winners): Angi

Article for Magazine writer: Tina

Tina will take bring garbage can and take home garbage.

Since my (Tina) recycle does not take glass I hope somebody else can take that. Patty, Shade
